Setting Up Your Trezor Device

1. Unbox Your Trezor

Begin by unboxing your Trezor device. Inside, you should find the Trezor hardware wallet, a USB cable, and a recovery seed card. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.

2. Connect Your Trezor

Connect your Trezor to your computer using the provided USB cable. Visit the Trezor website at trezor.io/start to begin the setup process.

3. Install Trezor Bridge

On the Trezor start page, you'll be prompted to install Trezor Bridge if it's not already installed. Trezor Bridge is necessary for your browser to communicate with your Trezor device. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it.

4. Access Trezor Wallet

After installing Trezor Bridge, click on "Access Trezor Wallet" to open the Trezor Wallet application. You'll be guided through a series of steps to set up your device.

5. Initialize Your Device

Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize your Trezor. You'll be asked to choose a PIN. Ensure it's secure and not easily guessable. You'll also be prompted to write down your recovery seed—a set of words that will allow you to recover your wallet if you lose access.

6. Verify Your Recovery Seed

You'll need to verify your recovery seed by selecting the words in the correct order. This step is crucial to ensure you have recorded the seed accurately.

7. Finalize Setup

Once your seed is verified, your Trezor is set up and ready to use. You can now access your cryptocurrency holdings and start managing them securely.
